Stevia Seeds & Books from Prairie Oak Publishing

Grow the sweet herb!

The incredible “sweet herb” of South America has become a hot crop for commercial growers and gardeners. It's fun to grow and tastes great right off the plant! Dried, ground leaves are sweeter than sugar, yet stevia is non-glycemic and virtually calorie free. Stevia entered my life in the 1990’s when one of my college professors invited me to do a research project on stevia seed production (read the research paper at the Purdue University New Crops Web Site). Stevia used to be started mainly from cuttings because of difficulty obtaining good seeds. I continued working on stevia seed production since college. I now have quality stevia seeds for sale. The germination rate is at least 70%, but usually much better. Seed starting instructions included with your order. Seeds are clean, with bristles removed for easy handling or automated sowing. Feel free to contact me with any stevia questions. -- Jeffrey Goettemoeller, grower/publisher  prairieoakpub@gmail.com   phone 660-528-0768
